Maria Yagubyan, AMFT
Maria Yagubyan, AMFT, is a bilingual therapist passionate about walking alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges. Fluent in both English and Armenian, she deeply understands the importance of being seen and understood—not only as an individual but also within the context of one’s culture, family, and values.
Maria specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and ADHD. She particularly enjoys supporting teenagers and young adults as they explore their identity, direction, and purpose. Her clients often come to her feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, and she strives to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where they can safely explore their story, gain self-awareness, and develop effective tools for growth.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered, combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused methods, and psychodynamic insight work to meet each client’s unique needs. Through this process, Maria helps clients build emotional resilience, improve relationships, and find clarity and confidence in their next steps.
She believes therapy is not only about healing from pain but also about unlocking one’s potential and reclaiming a sense of purpose. Whether clients are working through stress, past trauma, or major life transitions, Maria is dedicated to supporting them in finding balance and creating a more meaningful, fulfilling life.
